Bus-transfer current switchings tests performed on a CBDE 2000 type 170 kV, 2000 A, 3-ph centre-break disconnector with successful results. Tests parameters were decided to cover the requirements of the upcoming revision of IEC 62271-102. Applied bus transfer current 1600 A(r.m.s.), bus transfer voltage 350 V(r.m.s.) are applicable for disconnectors with the ratings up to 550 kV and 2500 A.
